Avenues Development in Hull
Volunteers at the Carnegie Heritage Centre are researching the Avenues Development in Hull which is celebrating its 150 year anniversary this year.
If you have any history about buildings, houses or people in relationship to the Avenues we would be great-full to hear from you.

Saturday 29th November
Exhibition of Model Railways + Picture Galleries and displays – organised by Hull Civic Society
Saturday 11th October
Annual Miniature Fairground Exhibition – working models of fairground rides 10am to 4pm organised by Needhams Funfairs.
Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th October 2024 10am to 4pm both days.
Hull Civic Society 60th Anniversary commemorating the demise of the Hull to Hornsea and Withernsea line and the last Hull Trolley bus.
Road Haulage Exhibition
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024
This was a chance for drivers to meet up with old pals, unfortunately it was not very well attended but the photographs are still available to view if you want to call in to the centre on a Tuesday or Friday to speak to our Road Haulage volunteers and reminisce.
Model Railway Exhibition
This exhibition was a great success and we would like to thank all the exhibitors who made it possible as well as our volunteers who were on duty. Steve Manners exhibit was enjoyed by all the children who came along as they able to take charge of the rolling stock. We will be doing this again next year so look out for the adverts.
